Chris Reese recognized in Montgomery County's 40 Under 40 list | Christiansburg, VA
I made this years 40 under 40 for the Montgomery County VA Chamber of Commerce!!! I had the goal set to make the list this year and I'm excited and grateful for this honor! Thanks to all of our friends and supporters of Bear Dance Market! Also it goes without saying but Sarah Vogl is already my other half and half of this award is really hers too; I couldn't ask for a better partner in life. Also thank you to the other local business owners that have been inspirations to me and the community and congrats to the other 40 under 40 as well!
Thank you to the Montgomery County VA Chamber of Commerce for the recognition! We're sad we weren't able to make the ceremony but today was an 11/10 day serving members of our community in beautiful weather. This news came on a very welcome date: the 2-month anniversary of Chris' mom's death from breast cancer.
Here's another quick friendly reminder, ladies: get yourself checked regularly! Donna died within just under a year of her last mammogram. Consider ordering The Donna or The Linda smoothies. (Sarah's mom (Linda) is a survivor!) A percentage of these smoothie proceeds from 2022 will be donated to a breast cancer research / advocacy non-profit.
